Friendship
Friendship is the antidote to the isolation epidemic that we are living in the midst of these days.
I recently attended an event and one of the takeaways for me is that I attend these community events with like-minded and not-so-like-minded folks hoping to make contact with a potential new friend. You know, like planting a seed?
Many of my most treasured friendships began as a moment in time that became a series of small moments that deepened over time. These moments have buoyed me in times of despair and hopelessness and have reflected my joy when the living was easy.
I am so grateful for these humans that are open to connection, seeing my humanity and reflecting something I couldn’t see myself. These moments become anchors by which I take my next step.
Friends, thank you!
