Radical Change

Our willingness to embrace this “unknown” shows that we are all capable of confronting fears of radical change, that we can cope. - bell hook, all about love

My three year old mentor and I spent the morning together yesterday. We have so much fun being together. She told me when she gets older she’ll have to do things, like mow the lawn. She’s right! There will be more to do when she is older. My wish for her and for all of us is that we remember both how to be and to be sometimes without the doing.

Being together is radical.

Being invites change.

We changed our plans multiple times yesterday morning. Mainly, to fit in more time playing with my cats, Wally & Atticus. I mean after all, we really should structure our days for maximum joy!
